Another awkward spot vs maniac-fish
Ok stats of this fish are: 82/45/6 ----- aggro/maniac/station
This guy has been giving me no credits what so ever And has successfully pushing me of allot of mediocre hands I seldom call with AJs a 3-bet well being Oop, but this time I felt I was way ahead of his range. He was doing his 3-bet like every other orbit, maybe even more. Note: I’ve already stacked this guy once this day. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) saw flop|saw showdown SB ($97.50) BB ($65.88) Hero ($172.82) MP ($119.36) CO ($184.99) Button ($141.94) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $4, MP raises to $7, 4 folds, Hero calls $3. ($62.36 left) I really think I’ve have NO fold equity on the flop after he minraised me SO should we just check/fold the turn. Or do we call Please elaborate |

Re: Another awkward spot vs maniac-fish
Fist-pump call!
The flop raise sucks... this guys software does not have a fold button. Just call the flop. |

Re: Another awkward spot vs maniac-fish
against this villian (and only for 100bb) i happily push this on the flop with two overs and the nutflushdraw.......... even without foldequity your hand plays very well against his range..... against solid players i would slow down a bit on a paired board, since i could be drawing dead....

Re: Another awkward spot vs maniac-fish
No way fold the turn. I'd def 4bet to ~30 preflop against this guy intending to to go allin on any flop if called.

Re: Another awkward spot vs maniac-fish
I agree with Jamougha and cbboy: reraise allin on the flop. Either you believe he has a deuce or you don't. If he does have a deuce, then you're in trouble, but if he doesn't, then you are ahead of pretty much everything short of JJ+.
Two overcards + nut flush draw > top pair on the flop. On the flop, even if he's holding AK, you still have 9 flush outs plus 3 jacks, which would make you a small dog. If you're ahead, then going allin is a coup, and if you're behind, then it's at worst a small mistake. |
