getting US$ from poker

Hi!
I'm from Europe and have my poker bankroll in US-$. I want to spend some time in the USA and want to use some of my poker money. What's the best way to do it? NETeller told me I can't use their US-$ checks in the USA. Can I use e.g. PartyPoker checks in the USA? If not, from any other site?
Or is there any other/better way to do it? I'd hate to cash out to my € bank account and then pay fees again to go back to US-$-cash.
Also I'd like to know whether I can make a cashout from FullTilt or PokerStars to a US bank account since I'm considering opening a bank account in the US if I can (pretty sure I can).

Do you have ePassporte? If you do and youn have time before you come to the US, get their debit card and withdraw from ATMs while in the US.

all i have is NETeller and moneybookers, though I "might" be able to get the new neteller prepaid master card in time which is in 4 weeks
