NL 200
limp in to catch a cheap flop then this happens. No reads except for we both have been quiet for about 25 hands or so. My main question is the turn and beyond. What does he have?

Re: NL 200
A set seems by far the most likely holding.
9 on river seems like it helps but I think the only thing that would actually help is a heart. It's tough to make these folds when you improve but I think you've got to lay this down on river. I'd play it about the same through turn |

Re: NL 200
I like the turn raise. Villain Looks like a set or QT. River doesn't really change anything, fold.

Re: NL 200
Fold! I'm calling turn re-raise for flush value only.

Re: NL 200
I agree that villian probably has a set.
A question though. What is the purpose of the raise on the turn? I don't disagree with it, but i'm not sure what the purpose is. Is it strictly for value with a hand that has a alot of outs? It doesn't seem like you fold out many hands that are better than yours, so I don't think there is that much fold equity, unless he was bluffing on the flop and has KQ or something. I also don't see many hands that are worse calling. I know that TP with a flush draw is a powerful hand, but I still don't exactly see why want to raise here. |

Re: NL 200
I hate this whole hand.
Preflop limp is pretty weak. Just let it go or raise. Then you got the flop and turn completely backwards. If you are going to get aggressive with a draw, then it needs to happen on the flop. I don't mind a call or a raise on the flop, it just depends on what you think of the players. On the turn, the raise is totally a spew. It accomplishes nothing. Just call down. As played fold river. |

Re: NL 200
i was going to say QT, but then he weak leads 2 streets so you're dead here.
that's a really nice c/r on the turn lol. you think your Q is that good of an out? i would never raise here in a multiway pot when i still have a very strong draw. maybe i would raise if we were deeper stacked and i was looking to conceal my draw. |

Re: NL 200
Raising the turn is nasty, do it on the flop instead.
