I'm particularly interest in the first hand, i was surprised to find that it is only in the top 57% of hands, am i pushing to wide on the bubble?

Re: Pushing too wide on the bubble? Stars 6.5 Turbo\'s
1.accordig to sngegt he needs to be calling only top 30% for it to be +ev, so very +ev as far as im concerned. His calling range has got to be about ~10% right?
2. with my ranges this is barely +ev with SB and BB with calling ranges at ~12%. Are my ranges off here? Cant see them calling much wider. But as Im not sure what there ranges are probably a fold as they could be calling with hands like K9s, QJs... |

Re: Pushing too wide on the bubble? Stars 6.5 Turbo\'s
Average calling range is 12-14% at these limits, but there are some players who will call as wide as 35%.
You really need to identify those players and adjust accordingly. I think 1 is a push in the SB, But would be a fold anywhere else. 2 I'm pushing any 2 cards here. You can't go completely on ICM in this situation, purely because the next round of blinds completely kills your FE. You need to steal the blinds here to maintain FE for the next round, and you will frequently have to take slightly -EV situations in which to do it. |
