The saddest thing about it is that Ungar keeps speaking about himself in the past tense, saying things like, "I made a lot of mistakes, but nobody was ever a better card player than I was." It's almost like he's writing his own eulogy.

It does seem there's a higher than average amount of Americans that struggle with dry humour... .Z [/ QUOTE ] I've found him hilarious in all the interviews he does. One of my favorite "poker" personalities. He's very quick too. I think when he got knocked out on the last PDA thing he did, he had some good lines with Shana. <3 Gabe.

The past couple generations were raised on insult or physical humor -- jokes that go for the jugular to satisfy a quota of x number of jokes per half hour sitcom.
