Re: July Low-Content Thread
Bizzarre Canterbury hand
villian in this hand has an 84% chance of actually being retarded. He, however, is pleasanntly happy about this even though he is buried for 3k and well on his way to 5k. Imagine the monopoly guy meets the Mr. Mustard character from the board game clue. the glorious hand: I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] from CO, villian calls in BB Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He checks and I quickly bet the standard 30 dollars while talking to vehn about some nonsense. Literally 5 secs later he is playing with his chip stack and humming almost oblivious to the fact we are mid hand. I kind of chuckle and tell him that its 30 dollars to call and he propmtly throws in 6 10 dollar chips?! I'm confused and start laughing while asking him why he threw in so many to which he responds, "you said 30 dollars"-- err ok? I call Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] He checks and goes back in his happy place of stacking chips and humming bizzare songs. I check behind because my head exploded many moons ago. River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] He out of nowhere looks up, shrugs, and throws 6 10 dollar chips in. I ask him, suppressing the urge to laugh in his face if he hit that. He responds very jollily "o yes, I hit that pretty hard actually." I tell him i think he has K high. I call and he tables K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he then takes his chips back... Question marks appear above everyone's head and the dealer informs him he must put his chips back as he lost. He calmly says, " O sorry, I thought i had a straight". I later ask him why he raised the flop and hes says very earnestly that he keeps forgetting we are playing with 10 doller chips and thought they were 5. |
