hate it. pf is fine IMO. he raises UTG and then bets the turn too...hes got a Q or pp that hes prolly gonna felt. people suck at 50nl and are stations in general, i could never get anyone to fold TT here.

The problem is that you haven't defined your "tagfish" and haven't described the flow of the game. Not a problem exactly, as it has started an interesting discussion -- but I think most of the answers kinda hinge on these kind of things.

Does Tagfish mean someone who is easy to take off a hand with a c/r? or one that sees a showdown once they've hit something good with one of their hands?

Have you c/r'ed a lot lately? with or without the goods? seen a bluff shown down, or seen a strong hand played cagily?

Every move here can be defended or rejected based on a number of factors. About the only one I think is simple is preflop. I call all day long, and twice on Sundays.

This flop though, despite "hitting my hand," is not actually one that is all that great -- it's on the bottom 1/3 of what I like to see.

why you guys keep calling utg raises out of position with SCs is beyond me

Not an autocall, I agree. This was one of the "call sometimes"

Agreed. Most of the time i fold here, but i will call at times. (situation, table dymnamics will dictate.) As played looks like a great spot to bluff.

Yeah I don't like calling an utg raise here in the blinds with a suited connector.

As for your flop call it is a -EV call. You are calling a psb with just a bare flush draw.

As for the turn I think it's a spew more then anything, I don't see what hands your making fold here.

The only hand you can have here is 44 or QQ. Doesnt make sense to me.

HU, the suited connector is an auto fold for me to a raise from UTG.

Give me 3way++ and it's an auto call, even if UTG is pf aggressor.

Since AJ isn't active here, I will comment

Hint: Balance!

That is my two cents, dunno if AJ has such concerns etc, but I'm into it a good deal (and I sound full of myself)

I think this is bad.. conceptually its good but on this board it sucks because hes probably not double barreling without a queen that much (if he is in fact a fish)

Basically just do it on a board where he is mroe likely to just have one pair.. also picking up gutter is even better spot

The biggest leak of most uNL players is that they overplay one pair hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is precisely why we shouldn't bluff here; most lagtard donks love to bluff hard at paired boards (even without a good draw), and many will automatically assume that's what you're doing because they either do the same or see guys doing it all the time.

I need a solid read to be sure he'll fear the Q-- not standard for me.

It might not be clear in my last post, but I think this hand is nicely played (tho if you played it in a zillion other ways, it most likely also would have been nicely played)
