[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Oh, I also think 77 = KK here. So would you guys call the river with KK here? [/ QUOTE ] no, KK is ahead of many hands that 77 is behind here. [/ QUOTE ] I realy don't think he has a set very much. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I would think most people just fire their set again. |

Re: River brings a set but villain bets out?
I llike a call, don't see what he's calling with that you beat besides maybe K10.
his hand kind of looks like JQ to me, or a backdoored flush. |

He also does not have AK because TPTK would not fire a potsize bet on such a scary river. So that leaves 77 just as a bluff catcher. Why would you like a raise then? |

Anyway, AK should bet the turn in the first place, and not check it, thereby failing to build a pot when it's good, and then suddenly fire a big bet on the scary river, repping the nuts with a hand with good showdown value, folding out every worse hand. A $20 bet can get calls from random pairs 'because the odds are so good' so there is some merit to that. Unless Villain is randomly pushing buttons, you can safely assume he does not have AK here. |
