Raise turn. Looks like a blocking bet to me, too.

What if we min-raise the turn? Hands that are drawing will call, AJ calls and then seems committed to call the river, so we get value out of it. We commit ourselves, sure (MAYBE we can get away on a Qc river or something like that), but if we're pushing the turn we're committed anyway.

Our options seem to be:
Push turn -> Charges drawing hands, gets value from hands who are calling with less, loses value from hands that we beat that fold.
Call turn, re-evaluate. -> Gives a free card to drawing hands, might lose value from hands who are calling with less (depending on what hits), probably saves us money when we're behind.
Min-raise turn, probably getting it all in on the river. -> Analysis above.

I like calling least.

i agree, do something to give his worse odds to draw and get more money in the pot, a min-bet just shows strength in my book on the turn so i'm shoving but if the villan has no idea whats going on, maybe lean towards min bet

If he's blocking with a one pair-type hand, there's a ton of different scenarios where we won't get any more money out of him on the river anyways. Those times we do, he'll probably have called a raise on the turn in any case.

If he's blocking with a draw, we can't set him up to make a mistake unless we raise. Flat calling allows him to play perfectly and essentially dictate the price he's getting on his draw.

guess a read is really important here.

If he is calling push with J/ok kicker then that is obv the best play.
If he needs like AJ or better to call then I still think push ok
If he folds all draws and all jacks to a push then I think call/min raise line is better.

His bet on the turn is so weak I tend to think that he would fold to a push hence I was advocating a turn call rather than push but I could be wrong.
