prodonkey, I believe your story is much better than mine...especially the part about the guy being fat. In his head, he was probably saying, "Damn! there goes a week or two of groceries!"

[ QUOTE ]
I was donking around in a 2/4 game at boulder station one time with a buddy of mine. We were sitting at opposite ends of the table and were capping everything between us and it was pissing this really really fat guy off who was sitting on my right.

He was telling me how we were cheating etc.. my buddy and I cap, I have T's.. flop comes KJx, so naturally we cap.. turn is a J, we cap.. fat guy keeps calling.. I'm like [censored] I think my buddy has KQ or something.. river Q, I fold when the fat guy check raises my buddy, I forget how many bets they went, I think they said the cap rule was still in effect because I was in the pot on the river. Fat guy turns over ATo for the rivered guttterball, my buddy hems and haws and says wow that's a really nice hand, he looks at his cards a couple times, picks them up like he's pitching them in the muck, and then says pulls them back and looks at them again and goes, oh, but I have K's.

Fat guy went ballistic, threw cards, chips.. told me he was gonna take me outside because I couldn't stop laughing that he had just got slowrolled.

I am about to push my chips in when I think, "Why don't i slowroll this fool?" So I do. I spend two minutes. Then I say call

[/ QUOTE ]

Two minutes was way over the top. 10 seconds would have been fine.

He was like super fat.. took up so much space, and he stunk.. and whined all the time about the raising, I'm so glad my friend did that. I have never done it, but some people really do deserve it.

I don't understand slow rolling when your opponents money is in the pot, maybe on the flop you could, but what is the point when he's all in? you sir are a douche

[/ QUOTE ]

That's the whole point of slowrolling EINSTEIN.

[/ QUOTE ]

sry, i understood slowrolling to be taking a long time to make an obviously easy decision with the hopes that your opponent will mistake that as weakness. why would anyone got out of their way to be an [censored].

they don't kick you out for slowrolling, but calling with the absolute nuts on the end is considered collusion.

Im sure people have been killed for less.

Justifiably so.

Time is money douchebag. Biggest thing that ever pissed me off in my time playing live is some douche kid who took like a minute to call with A5 on A55x board for a £30 bet with £15 behind.

I dont care that he beat me out of the pot. Its the fact he thought i could get some super psychic read that he pretty much held the nuts and wouldnt put in that last £15 getting 15 million to one or something on the river.

Then when i put him all in on the river, he called and made me show my ace before flipping his boat. I coulda throttled the little [censored].
