Does the royalty contract require him to post here?

There are plenty of other 2p2 authors who don't participate on the forums. Are their royalties getting screwed with?

Yes, Dr. Al used to be quite active in this forum and I miss him.

That said, I kinda understand his reluctence. The 2p2 boards are not what they were several years ago. With the growth in members, it is not the community it once was and the open hostility from both posters and moderators has become common.

I'll miss you Al, but I understand.

How can Al live with himself while he sits back and watches us armchair psychologists give out terrible life advice?

That's a good point, Al. I think you should at least post your explanation. I'm assuming he'll read this, but perhaps not.

you made at least 23 posts yesterday. does that represent a lack of interest, or do you continue posting with less enthusiasm?

I'm always open to feedback on the site and what encourages/discourages posters.

I've been registered for three years here and have barely made any posts. Before it was because I was intimidated, but lately it's just because the site seems to have been taken over by the "baller" attiude you see a lot in poker today. The posts are so full of "inside baseball" verbage that it's almost impossible for someone who isn't in the club to decipher what is being said.

I still love 2p2 and find a lot of meaningful content here. There is also qiite a bit of junk that just screams "outsiders not welcome".

It could just be me, though.

Does it really matter that u dnt know these sporadic abbreviations... I find the posts pretty clear generally, just stay away from BBv4life.

Should I screw with his royalty payments or should we just let him be?

Very professional and businesslike, makes me want to do business with you in the future if I was a potential investor, backer or wahtever reading these forums anonymously.

You sound like a pissed off 17 year old.

just pm the poster that said the abbreviations and they usually pm u back with what they mean ( the only way I learned what they ment), and bbv4life is like a college frat house, they are all pretty rowdy young people and they haze everyone but its all in fun for most posters anyway
