if you're up against a huge draw you're behind, making an ai slightly +EV bc of the money already in the pot

if you're up against a set you're crushed, making an ai hugely -EV

add those figures up, throw in the off chance villain was slowplaying a big pair himself/ has air/ is making a move and voila

without some kind of read or history, I'm folding this without much thought

I get it in expecting to see spades 65% about half that being Axss, a smaller overpair 10%, and a set 25%.

I like a fold here. You have a pair, and villain is representing something stronger than this. I think you should give him credit until you get a better read on him. Probably has a set
