See, he put you on AK on the flop, however, when the ace hit the turn villian realised that you can't possibly have AK in this spot, and adjusted his range accordingly.

Being able to change your play based on the information given to you on each street is essential to being a winning unlimited Texas hold them player, and villian inthis hand showed this to perfection. You just got outplayed.
