Re: which is worse, turn or river?
Well, the river is bad but it is set up because the turn raise is so small. 2Kish seems right.

Re: which is worse, turn or river?
Well the river is only bad because you bet so small on the turn. Pot would be what, 2200 if you call? So make it 2100 at least, that's 1500 more to him and prevents him from bluffing the river.
As played I think I fold the river but I'm not positive. I guess he could have QJss or KQss but that would be about it. -Diplomat |

[ QUOTE ]
25-50 on FTP unknown raises to 175 UTG pretty quickly, I coldcall button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Jo blinds fold J 8 5 (2 spades) He bets 350 on flop pretty quickly and I just call Ax He bets 600 I raise to 1500 He calls and shoves 3k into me on 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] river and I call [/ QUOTE ] That's tougher at second glance. Your hand is face up but against a reasonable range (45s+ AK, AQs and 33+) you're flipping coins, maybe slightly behind since holding A spades. Call really player dependant. Also, turn raise makes me vomit. |

Re: which is worse, turn or river?
What was the point of the turn bet, to confuse yourself on the river?
I can't call that river. How often does he get to the river with that action with a hand you are ahead of and that he wants to bet with? |
