Anyone ever been to a concert at the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre in ATL?

I may be going to the Family Values tour there. The only standing tickets they have is for the pit, but I don't know where the pit is. I don't want to buy these type of tickets and then when I get there find out "the pit" isn't up close to the stage where I expected.

Is that what used to be called Lakewood Amphitheater? I went to several concerts there but don't remember a 'pit'. Sounds like you would be right below the stage to me.

from my memories of lakewood, I can't think of something that would qualify as a "pit", so perhaps they are naming the lawn seating the "pit" b/c it's the family values tour?

i've been to dozens of shows there and am going to family values as well

there are seats and then lawn behind seats; last few rows of seats are uncovered as is the lawn

i've never seen a front pit there, but i assume they can take out the first few rows of seats and create one
