I can\'t put him on a hand/range and therefore I call!
<font color="green"> The DaniStar5 guy have been tangling a little w/ me. He has raised my cb twice and I have folded both times. He also donked into me once and folded against my raise. Furthermore is he playing 25/15/2,5 after 100 hands. No more reads.
I can't put him on a range/hand that beats me. B/c two pair our better should have raised flop b/c of obv. reasons. He shouldn't called the flop w/ just a eight, right? Accordingly to this reasoning, the turn is a call. Re: I can\'t put him on a hand/range and therefore I call!
woah, why would he do that w/ AQ/AJ. i suspect hed raise those types of hands on the flop. also, assuming he knows that you get 3:1 on this call, this hardly ever is a bluff. conversely, i dont see a lot youre ahead of heare.

And I could easily be betting turn w/ A worse A than AK b/c of the nature of the board and due to how the action have went so far. But as you say then he probably should have raise flop... mheee... I'm a bit confused. |

well yeah, the point is that you need to be good only 25% to breakeven EV-wise. thats not a lot ofc, so if you believe hes bluffing here at least sometimes and has worse from time to time, you should call.

Re: I can\'t put him on a hand/range and therefore I call!
I'm fine with a call for the same reasons you gave. The only reasonable hand might be 8T because he wants to wait for a safe turn card before raising when he has better equity. But if that's his whole reasonable range then it's a call for me.

TT,AA,AT,A8, a loose flop peel with an 8. People slowplay in weird spots. Not saying this is a fold, but I wouldn't really be suprised to see any of these hands.

Re: I can\'t put him on a hand/range and therefore I call!
I've seen people put it in on a semibluff draw in this type of spot here, before. I'm not saying it makes sense for them to do so, but I have seen them do it. They don't want to fold their draw, but they don't want to call with the board paired, perhaps they figure they have folding equity, and pot equity if they get called. Not necessarily good players though.

Re: I can\'t put him on a hand/range and therefore I call!
I think that this 8 is a good card for our hand as it lessens the chance he is slowplaying A8/8T/88 on the flop. Im calling here. I think opponent does this with enough hands im ahead of
