I'd bet pot here to commit myself while I still rate to be ahead or even in the hand.

the reason i posted this is because i was not sure what i accomplished with my bet.

villian is LOOSE and he called my raise. so if he has any piece of the flop or TT/99 he is not going away. so all my bet really does is fold the hands I am ton ahead of (AQ, AT, KQ,). i guess there is some value to folding out T9, QT or possibly 77 66 but those hand make up a pretty small part of villians ranges. i don't know... my play does seems stanard i was just wondering if it was the best play.

Id prob pot it b/c I want to get in as much money as possible where I am ahead of all one pair hands taht don't include an A or K. and Ya I am prob shoving the turn blind. I'd just rather get as much in as possible and tax hands I am drawing to crush.

The more money you get in while you rate to be ahead *and* before villian gets scared off by an over or another heart, the better. These hands kind of suck to play when you can't pot commit yourself with one bet. That isn't the case here.

If you turned a heart, you would realise what you had accomplished.

Bets are not just ways to make people fold.

Would it be bad to raise to only 150 here? When do you raise to 200 or 250?

Because there are 2 limpers in front. Most people go with the 3x + 1 for every limper so 150+50+50 = 250.
