i don't mind posting a lot of things because i know that most non-contributors won't get it anyway. but there's a difference between offering hand advice and saying:

"dear tagfish,

here is a grocery list of reasons why you aren't winning as much as you could, and ways to fix it:"

I post here in order to improve my game. Replying to other people's posts forces me to think and analyze which helps me, and by helping others out I expect them to help me out as well.

I gain nothing by simply laying out my gameplan for how I play against other TAGs. The only thing that happens is that other TAGs play better against me. In order to exploit other players I also leave myself open to being exploited by players that adopt an appropriate counterstrategy. Saying "TAGs bluff too much in this specific spot so I always call" is lighting money on fire for me.

And that's why I'm not going to post anything here and I assume that's why others feel the same way.

One of the 5/10 regs who I didnt think was 2p2 (who is like 14/10 fwiw) was like "IMSAKIDD you post too much" while I was talking to someone else. I asked who he was, and he said he just read, didnt post.
