Default Neteller are real ****heads

So, Neteller announce that they are no longer serving customers from Israel.
Of course, they don't give any warning so that there is no change you might actually move the money away before it happens.

I decide to contact them to find out how I can get at my money:

[ QUOTE ]
So, now you have closed the use of my money how am I meant to get it out?

Transferring it to another person is going to be hard as there aren’t many people I can transfer it too. Also, I am going to lose 2%!

I think it is shameful that you did not warn your customers about this. In fact, the first I heard about it was when I got an e-mail from one of the sites!

Had I known about it in time I would have been able to transfer the money into one of the sites and got to it from there.

Now I am stuck!

This is not the sort of service I expected to receive from a company I have been with for a few years now.

I look forward to hearing a solution from you.

The least you could to would be to wave the transfer fee so as to allow us to transfer the money to someone we know!

[/ QUOTE ]

After 3 days they finally reply:

[ QUOTE ]
NETELLER has ceased the transfer to and from online gaming site options. All withdrawal options remains the same, you can still transfer to your bank or request a cheque for your funds. The options are still valid.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for choosing NETELLER.

Cute.

Well, maybe I can get it in my US account?

[ QUOTE ]
Problem is I don’t have a dollar account in Israel and do not want to convert it to Shequels.

Can I have the money sent to my US bank account?

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't be stupid. Why should we make life easy for you?

[ QUOTE ]
We can send a cheque to you in Euro currency but not in USD. The cheque is issued from our UK office.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

[/ QUOTE ]

WTF?

Just sent off this e-mail:

[ QUOTE ]
My account is in Dollars!

What on earth am I meant to do with a Euro check?

I have never used Euro and have absolutely no use for it.

What is the point of having a dollar account if you can’t issue me a dollar check?

What do you do for American customers? Do they also have to get it in Euro and then change it back?

That means losing about 5% because of the exchange back and forth!! This is in addition to the amount that I am charged for issuing the check and the amount my bank will charge for depositing it.

This is totally ridiculous. Never heard of anything like it!

This is totally unacceptable. This is not the sort of service I expected to get after the last few years with you.

American's have had their money locked up for many months. With many fearing they might never get it back.

EVERY American with money in Neteller would GLADLY take their money in Euros/shequels/rubels/blood diamonds...

lol

You're not going to get much sympathy about getting your money in a less-than-desired currency here. Most of us have been held hostage since January.

No doubt. With Neteller losing US, Canadian, Turkish and Israeli accounts on top of the fines to the US government and payback of all US players I wonder if Neteller will even make it.
