Villain flipped over 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and my head assploded!

Thanks for everyone's input on this situation in general. Feel like I have a much better grasp on this situation now.

i typically bet the river. the 8 changed little imo.

I play it the same. Probably pretty close to betting and checking river. Depends what I think his rr range is.

i didnt see the 18 flop bet, bump it up to 60 odd. i'd def check call this river.

I'm check-raising the flop ai. For value and protection and to balance my game because I do that thing alot.
