Re: Raised on turn with TPGK
[ QUOTE ]
I used to have this mentality postflop when I sucked. [/ QUOTE ] So you have sucked once upon a time? |

Re: Raised on turn with TPGK
I still do at times, but when I first started I had the complete wrong mentality for limit hold 'em, raise/fold to see where I'm at.

Re: Raised on turn with TPGK
I think allowing the SB to give his hand to the BB to play, after the BB folds on the flop, is not allowed. It doesn't really matter much, since the BB folded the SB's hand on the turn, however, I don't think I'd make it a practice of allowing them to pass off their hands.
Call down. You will improve or find button playing a weaker ace often enough. On those times you do have the worse hand, you present yourself as one who doesn't easily muck. |

Re: Raised on turn with TPGK
Because of the blinds calling and bloating the pot I would call down I guess hoping for a flush draw or weaker A. You also a have a good number of outs against something like A2. I think this is an information call down more than anything at these levels, but it's only slightly -EV.
Edit: I agree that even without the blinds calling I'm calling down here against an unknown, but now that I see the stats I'm sure it's -EV. |
