I think that is a very sensible idea, as you can also get problems with disconnections, script errors etc. A clean restart every x hours would minimise the effect of most problems.

I just sent this pm to Idleminer customer support ie a needed IdleMiner Absolute update.

Idleminer please respond. btw all 3 of these apps. Idleminer FT,Absolute and Party have been working great.

This is due to Party Poker Software and/or Idleminer leaking memory. A typical bug introduced into a lot of software, but you don't run typical software for day after day.

I suspect it is Party that is leaking memory, but slowly, so you don't noticed the problem by just playing the odd few hour session then closing the application.

Are party likely to fix this? Maybe, Probably not? What can you do, well the easiest thing is to have as much memory as possible, so that the leak takes as long as possible to cause this problem. The other option is to restart Idleminer / Party poker every x number of hours yourself.

It's not a memory leak, I have like infinite memory and it still crashes alot.
Also other there are free apps that mine party and dont crash so i don't think its a bug at Party.

Yup. I had installed idleminer on my previous laptop and desktop. I have got a new desktop and it tells me that I've installed idleminer on too many computers. (I've never had it on more than 2 PCs at any point). I've contacted support but no reply.
