Hero????

I usually play .50-1 PLO when I want a break from NLHE but I noticed this game had a ridiculously high avg pot and # seen flop %. I bought in for 120 intending to buy full after a couple orbits and I adjust to the slightly higher stake and it being full ring instead of 6max. I'm a nit sometimes, sue me. This hand was my third at the table, but I had to wait a bit to sit and there had been three $400+ pots in the orbit or so I watched.

So theres like 500 in the pot that i can win and I have 50 behind when it gets to me but I'm basically always pretty far behind. I think the backdoor flush/straight draw gives me the odds to call, but im newish to PLO and havnt run into a situation like this before.

your buy-in plan makes no sense.

I don't mind folding on this flop. Just did a simulation and versus 4 random hands you have only 16% equity, versus 21% for any 4 cards. Against 4 hands prepared to go all-in on this flop, you're significantly worse off. So you're unlikely even to have the 10% equity you need.

However versus the actual hands you just about had the odds with 11.5% equity.

Taking into account the OP's description of this table, you can't assume anything. Getting 10 to 1, it's a must call.
