Re: Hand Simulator
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Interestingly, 52o loses to 43s. It's not until you get to the feared 72o that it pulls ahead of 43s. cards %win %lose %tie EV 5s 2c 36.27 43.85 19.88 0.462 4h 3h 43.85 36.27 19.88 0.538 [/ QUOTE ] Why are you surprised that suited connectors would be a favorite against a 52o? [/ QUOTE ] Not suprised really, just interesting. I didn't think it'd be that big a gap. I figured the 5 pairing when 4 or 3 also pairs would close the gap somewhat. Until you get up around and 8 or 9 in your hand, you're playing the board enough that suited connectors easily rule. You get up to, like I said, 72o and the 7 plays often enough to win when both hands don't improve. Just thought it was interesting. |

Re: Hand Simulator
I hate having to argue w/ people that 2-7 offsuit is not the worse hand in poker and that it dominates such hands as 23-26, but people believe what they are told that 2-7os is clearly the worst hand in poker... I love fishes.

Re: Hand Simulator
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] they finally called one of the producers to run a hand simulator to find out that 9-5 os is a better hand than 8-2 of hearts and gavin won the bet that he took based on assumption. [/ QUOTE ] Was it a producer or was it BJ Nemeth of Pokernews.com? [/ QUOTE ] It was BJ. |
