This sums up my feelings as well. I never in a million years would have thought this was about furniture.

The effectiveness of Craigslist is absolutely astounding. I placed ads for a new assistant and a new receptionist Friday afternoon, by Monday morning I had 200+ resumes, a high percentage of them viable. I doubt I'll advertise anywhere else again.

Wow that is really crazy to me that 200 people applied for a receptionist job in 2 days. Are there really that many people looking for jobs?

Seems crazy to me, too, actually. Part of the reason, I think, is that people who graduated in May that don't have jobs yet are panicking and getting pressure from their parents to get a job, any job. Also, the assistant position has room for growth so it isn't "just" being a receptionist.

OMG I totally missed that my title could be interpreted that way. el oh el.

Sorry to all that opened this post hoping to find something non-furniture related.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the reason I opened this thread too, and I'm feeling let down at this point. I will say that I'd be shocked if you couldn't make a little money off of craigslist and have someone pick it up very quickly though.
