Am I really the only one 3-betting the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's what I thought here as well, 3bet the flop and call down to further aggression.

[/ QUOTE ]
That's usually also my default line, but I was wondering how this line is. A call on the flop and a C/R on the turn creates a bigger pot, but when behind it will cost more money. Problem with the C/R on the turn is that he can check or fold after getting C/R'ed... but he can also call/fold or something like that after getting reraised on the flop...

So what is better?

[/ QUOTE ]

The absence of any draws on the board means he has a T or a PP<Hero's. I like the turn c/r because this turn is getting checked through ~never.

These are the hands I like to c/r turns with.

Perhaps I am missing something. The absence of any draws just got whacked with the 3 coming off. You can still fear A5.

Do you think A5 raises this flop?

Probably not with A5, SC's maybe? Definitely can't say there's an absence of any draws on the board. No read on the player usually means (to me anyway) that you have to weigh out all the plausible options.

JJ/QQ are not that weird. I will just cold call with these. I also think at this level 22/44 is in the realm of possibilities as some players will cold call and not fold them preflop

not out of the realm of possiblities as if he picked up the gut shot and r/r flush. His flop raise was to slow you down??? I also think again at this level bottom or middle set is not impossible. Heck he could be playing 33 assuming you have aX where x is a big card that did not hit.

Sure it's within the realm of possibilities but you can't put equal weight on all of them. Given this board, there's definitely a better chance we're ahead than behind. Thinking everytime you're raised that someone has a better hand that you is MUBS.
