mini disconnects

I was not able to control my mouse. I scanned with ad aware, defender and avg. Did not work so I used system restore. Seems ok except I am disconnecting from FTP for aprox. 7-10 seconds every 2 or 3 minutes.

I used system restore again but I still have the disconnect problem.

any suggestions?

Is this a one-time thing? Try rebooting and see if the memory clear + IP renew fixes things. Are there any other net issues when FTP disconnects? If you setup a ping, does it go through while FTP fails?
