with Q-high? you really doing that?

If, however, the turn goes bet, call, raise, then I could see some merit to a 3bet to try to knock out the 3rd player, maybe pick up a few outs, and hope that Hoss might be doing some protected bluff or semibluff raise... I mean getting 3rd guy to fold something like AQ would be great here.

I can't really explain why but I don't think I would bet the turn.

REALLY? I'd ask you to try to explain why, but since you already said you can't I suppose thats pointless... anyways, how often are you going to CR when it goes check, check bet?

I dont play anywhere close to this high so apologize if this is incosequential but:

How wide is buttons calling range here on the flop?
Would he not fold hand that is possibly dominated by BB?
Even though you said BB was loose, he did call a 3-bet, so his range isn't exactly top 75% (correct me if im wrong). (may be top 30%) Button should know this and would not likely overcall the flop without some sort of pair, gutshot or hand >K9...
Poor players are capable of not raising middle pairs in BB's spot, so you can't exclude that from BB's range either.

Isn't then button range + BB's range make your fold equity very small and the chance you get raised as a bluff or for value significant (>10-20%?). You'll also likely have to 3-barrel it..

Betting this really depends on two factors for me:
1) How loose BB calls preflop
2) How loose button is calling this flop (which depends on 1, if he's good)

The looser they are , the more id want to bet this.

One important thing that hasn't been discussed imo is how often Hoss bluffs the turn when it's checked to him. If I think the turn is getting bet a lot Id prefer to fire it myself and see what happens -- but if I can get a freebie I think it's likely worth giving up on winning the pot ui......
