Default HU Record - Sample size

What's a good sample size for hu sng's in terms of predicting long term success? What type of 0% roi stretches do people have that play these regularly?

I used to say that 200 games is enough to give you a rough estimate of how you will do at a certain level, but my ROI has been 2-3% for my last 200 games at the 55's. My ROI for the 200 games before that at the 55's was 15%, so maybe overall im like 8-9% at the 55's who knows. I think 500 games is the minimum for determining a close estimate of your long term ROI.

200-300 is plenty if your winrate is high (60-68) but as you move up levels you'll see your winrate drop, therefore your variance increases and you need more games to determine what kind of an ROI/winrate you really have.

Search for posts by TNixon, he has some good stuff about bankrolls and winrates and sample sizes.
