\"I was soooo close to puking\"--What does it mean?
People always say that they felt like puking after they suffer a horrific bad beat. Oddly enough, I have never, ever gotten this "puking" feeling after I taken horrific beat. Believe me, I have taken some of the worst beats imaginable.
I get kind of get light headed (weight less) after a horrific beat for lots of money, but never nauseated. Is this the "puking" feeling everyone talks about? I am lost.

i lost a huge chunk of my bankroll playing bj back in the day, and i definitely got that sick, "oh god what have i done" feeling. i would never actually puke, but it is sort of nauseating.

I only get that feeling when I make a bad play. I get lightheaded. "Oh, God. What have I done?" It's not nausea.

Adrenaline release caused by bad beat is similar to the biological reaction to puking.
When a British friend won a tourney at Foxwoods he told me he was as happy as "a pig in sh*t" but I never felt the need to post it here. He doesn't even own a pig, the fraud! Sigh, etc.
