5/10 on Bodog. Good card to bluff on?

3 handed. Im on the button with J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and make it $35, sb calls (ok tag) bb calls (tight, passive).

effective stacks, me $800, bb $900

flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

sb checks, bb bets $75, I call. sb folds. Not sure what to think here. I figured at the time call and pretty much push any threating turn card.

he leads for $220. I push. Thoughts?

Why are you pushing threatening turn cards? Do you want AQ/Q9 to fold and flush/straights to snap call? Raise the flop.

I probably raise flop and get it in there mostly.

nice way to turn a set into a bluff, wtf.....

Either raise the flop and try to get it in versus his pair+draw.

The way you played it you were waiting for a safe turn card to raise..... but you got the worse card in the deck.... and then raised! Just call and stack him when you fill on the river.

you realize he calls with hands you are behind and fold hands you are ahead of right? Flop call is horrible as well. Get the $'s in when you are ahead.
