I really wish ESPN would discuss Vick's scambling ability versus his problems in the pocket one more time. | 8 | 38.10% | |

Re: BBV: Help me settle an Issue
I can totally understand what OP is saying here. I think your friend deserves about 5%, in your case I would probably round it to $1000 as a because you are a friend "tip". If he understands how your previous deals were, then it shouldn't be difficult to explain how you arrived at 5%.
I wonder if you would get a better perspective asking this question to the non-poker community. |

There's a BIG difference between a staking arrangement and what happened here. OP's friend bailed him out of a tight spot and did very well for him. In a normal staking arrangement, if the horse says "no thanks," the staker doesn't lose anything. In this situation, if his friend couldn't help him, OP would have lost the potential to get the 18k. OP needs his friend's help, his friend came through for him, and now OP is trying to grim his way out. |

Re: BBV: Help me settle an Issue
tell him you were originally going to pay him $1800 but decided on $100 when almost everyone in BBV agreed you should pay him $1800. He should get a kick out of that.
