Re: Tonight\'s YouTube debate
Why the heck is Gravel moaning so much about talk time. I think he's had ample opportunity so far.

Re: Tonight\'s YouTube debate
Sure, the reason you sent Chelsea to private school instead of D.C. public schools was because of the press. Good lord.

Re: Tonight\'s YouTube debate
[ QUOTE ]
I love when Hillary was asked about whether she would label herself a liberal. She proceeded to give the great traditional definition of liberal - talking about freedom and personal responsibility and then she said she wasn't that at all and called herself a "progressive". Yeuck. I've always thought that the traditional democrat message was to say that you believe in traditional American values but pretend that it's possible to legislate "equality" at the same time. I'm a bit surprised she made it so clear that she's a Marxist. [/ QUOTE ] I'm guessing hardly anyone outside of rabid right-wingers and people ignorant of what Marxism actually is thought "she made it so clear that she's a Marxist." |

[/ QUOTE ] American's "left" party is about as conservative as a leftist party gets in the Western world, and Hillary Clinton is a rather moderate member of that party. She's nothing close to a Marxist. I realize "Marxist" is some kind of catch-all word for right anarchists and libertarians to call anyone who doesn't want to dismantle the government, but "Marxism" does actually have a stricter definition than that, and Clinton doesn't really fit the mold. |

Re: Tonight\'s YouTube debate
This debate had the potential to be interesting, but the questions don't seem markedly different than the other debates. The YouTube aspect seems more gimmicky to me than anything.
