I've hated Leno forever and have always been a big fan of Letterman ... he doesn't get old for me ... Conans skits obviously dominate the others, but his opening monologue has been the same for 10 years and his interviews suck ... he's just awkward when he's not talking to puppets or cardboard cutouts

And I can never tell if Letterman is drunk or not.

used to watch it a few years ago quite a bit. kinda like him/the show, but since then I've stopped watching television, and hence, stopped watching leno. Not sure if I'd like the show today, but I think so?

strangely, that's exactly my case too

I would rather watch a blank screen than watch Leno.

Conan dominates them all.

Leno is immensely unfunny. It is all safe, crappy, saccharine Midwest grandparents humor. Letterman has slipped over the years, but Leno still isn't fit to hold his jock. Conan is decent, and Kimmel is much funnier when he isn't trying to run his own show. Haven't seen much of Ferguson, but the bits I have seen have been good.

If Kimmel were any more dull it would be shocking, and then he'd come out the other side of dull to be exciting.

None of these guys (Letterman 15 years ago excluded) are fit to hold Johnny Carson's jock.

Aside from one or two skits and the rare aside during an interview, Carson never even got within shouting distance of funny. I've seen that show hundreds of times, maybe thousands, and never seen anyone laugh at one single joke in his monologue.

Carson >>>> NBC Letterman >>>> Conan >>>>>>>>>> CBS Letterman >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>> Leno >>>> Ferguson/Kimmel - Ferguson has a better monologue but Kimmel is better with his guests

There simply are not enough of ">" to accurately scale Carson Daly.

They weren't supposed to be funny. Carson was supposed to go out there and bomb every night, that was his shtick.
