Raising is silly because you don't have a great heads-up hand, you want to play multi-way cheap, and you have exactly that. [/ QUOTE ] word. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] folding is insane limping is what I'd do basically always. [/ QUOTE ] But you're too tight, so folding is correct, I do it always. [/ QUOTE ] I think I've read this sentence 12 times and I don't think Im any closer to understanding it. [/ QUOTE ] It just means that I don't think you can limp profitable in this situation. I'm no good with theory, but I have pretty much experience from low limit SnG's at Full Tilt. [/ QUOTE ] are you on the pipe? Limping is so obviously +EV its a joke. [/ QUOTE ] I think I can find better situations to risk the limited chips I can afford to play with at the early levels. If I won any pots before so I got more than 1500, I can limp in this situation, but at 1500 and below, QJs OTB with 2 limpers isn't something I play. |

i fold 'cause if i'm playing an $11 sng, i'm playing a hundred of them and i reckon i can increase my hourly by reducing post flop play and thus being able to play more of them.

I feel like there's some odd presumption that my post flop play sucks, and it umm... doesn't. I couldn't possibly imagine folding this hand ever in these games.

I feel like there's some odd presumption that my post flop play sucks, and it umm... doesn't. [/ QUOTE ] You said in another thread you didn't know what ICM was. Playing draws with odds is fine in cash. In SnGs it's death because when your chips double your $$$ equity doesn't double. For example taking a 50/50 on the first hand is bad because you lose $10 or gain $8.25 by doubling up - the rest of the equity spreads out to other players at the table ($.25 each in this case). |
