Re: several options with QQ
[ QUOTE ]
if I lead and player raises am I folding? [/ QUOTE ] Equally, if you check-raise and he moves AI are you folding? My point is by checkraising you are committing a lot of chips, whereas if you lead you keep your options open. IMHO it is wrong to claim a CR helps define your hand since he could 3B flop with the same range as he raises or calls a bet with, namely 99-JJ, plus if he does have AA or KK youre already committed. Either way its a tricky situation and as I said previously with QQ v AAor KK on this board its hard not to stack off |

Re: several options with QQ
I ended up leading and player folded. Not sure what I would do if he raised...was probably going ai, but not sure.

Re: several options with QQ
My default line in these spots is crai with 100bbs. Cr and then folding is not good at all. IMO you get called by JJ and TT fairly often.

Re: several options with QQ
Before i call pre flop the 3 bet, i ll think first. is 3 betting me with what range? AA KK AK QQ JJ TT AQ JTs QKs
if his range is that. i check and shove on C bet is his range is just KK AA(he never 3 bets) i just fold my QQ pre flop and dont get involved but this guy is 18/15/3 18-15=3 he is calling jusr 3% so re reise pre flop for sure, with large range |

Re: several options with QQ
I think you should mix it up. Sometimes CRAI, sometimes c/c, sometimes bet/call. I don't really like b/f at this point. I wouldn't be too distressed if you end up getting stacked on a rag flop in a reraised pot by AA/KK. I've seen too many people CALL all-ins on these flops with AK, much less raise all in to consider folding. Maybe that's wrong though.

Re: several options with QQ
i would usually c/r here.
even if it is not optmimum in this case, it's good for meta game (ie - i would do this with alot of hands - draws, air, trips, fullhouses etc) |
