Default How About This For A Mixed Game??? LOL....HELP NEEDED!!!!

i play at this pretty crazy mixed home game regulary and had a couple questions about the legitimacy of the games and what, if any, strategy is out there for some of these games.......here is the list of games we play, its dealer choice, not a rotation....

no limit hold em
no limit Omaha
no limit 7 card Stud
no limit 5 card stud
no limit 5 card draw (sometimes w/ wilds lol)

as u can see all the games are no limit.....are those even considered real games.....whats also weird is, everyone buys in for $100 at a 3-5 game.....am i supposed to still buy in for 300-500......like i would normaly do.......im having trouble mainly w/ the stud and omaha hands....any suggestions, besides the obvious, dont go to the game...lol, is there any strategy on those games considering the circumstances. the games is full of calling stations....no one ever folds....EVER....LOL, so i play pretty TAG...wait for right situations and get in my money. anyways i'll leave it at that, let me know if there is something i havent detailed enough or something i forgot to mention........I REALLY NEED HELP W/ THIS ....thanx...KP

no limit 7 card stud is a terrible choice, the game should be fixed limit, or else it will become a "who sucks out" game.

Playing no limit 5 card draw w/ wilds is just stupid, IMO, so I would sit those hands out.

Find a book or website that will give you some good Omaha and Stud starting hands to get more ideas.

I like playing 5 card draw with a cap before and after a draw,
me and some of my friends used to play .50/1 games with a cap on 20 or 30 bucks Kansas City lowball, or 2-7 5card draw which you can call it too
worked pretty well, but now we're just playing bunch of omaha and holdem sit'n'gos

In my game we play

hold em
omaha
omaha8
7stud
7stud8
razz
sökö8
crazy pineapple
5card low

we play 7stud, 7stud8 and razz with half pot limit, which works fine even though it's not legimate or w/e. Rest is PL except for hold em, which is NL

Sorry to say that, but sounds like a typical amateur-night poker. Dealer's choice is a terrible choice (no pun intended) anyway.

With games like that you only have two options:

Option 1 - stay away
Option 2 - cheat

5-card stud is a beautiful game, although anyone hardly wants to play it these days. The real way to play that game (as it used to be played when it was most popular) is limit and no antes.

Our home game is a 1/2 fixed limit, we play:

hold 'em
7 stud
7 stud 8/b
omaha
omaha 8/b
pineapple
razz
UFL (2-7 triple draw)

we also play 5 and 7 stud hi/lo declare. 5 stud hi/lo declare generates some ridiculous action.

edit: No antes, just a $1 deadwood to the left of the dealer for ante games, $1 live blind to the left of the dealer for HE, omaha, and UFL

I'm not a fan of wildcards myself, but the "classic" California draw game (covered in Super System) is with a joker. They called it the "bug" and it was not a full wild but could be used as an Ace or as any card to fill a straight or flush (or straight flush).

UFL (2-7 triple draw)

I know what 2-7 TD is, but what does "UFL" mean?
