Default NL25: AK Top-Two. On the turn THE FLUSH ARRIVES

Villain is very loose preflop, never raises, went to showdown 25%...

His stats over 50 hands: 49/2/0.5 won at showdown: 75%

Havent been out of line at this table, raised a few strong hands in this orbit... Preflop is standard, maybe I shouldve raised a bit more on the flop.

But what I'm really concerned with is the turn. I was sure that he wouldnt raise without the flush or a set. He was limping a lot, so he could easily have two spades here.

Should I've just checked behind? I think no, I wouldve felt like I lost value against that kind of player. So I chose to bet for value/information and fold to a raise.

Right play?

I imagine if he had a set he is reraising the flop. His donk bet on the flop really suggests that he is drawing. I think I probably check/call this turn bet. I dont think any worse hand is calling your turn bet. This gives you a chance to boat up, and also the villan a chance to sometimes bluff the turn and slow up on river without the flush.
