Re: Kings on monotone flop
[ QUOTE ]
Retarded donkeys dont fold. So we expect him to have Ah here a lot and actually call our turn shove. Otherwise I dont see how a turn shove is good he'll call with everything that beats us (flopped flush, 2pair, set). River is so close imo.. anyone else please? [/ QUOTE ] if he calls with Ah, pushing turn is awesome, obv. |

Re: Kings on monotone flop
As noted, seems that a rerz/push on the turn is the way to go. In a shorthanded game you raised on the button. No way that villain has to put you on KK there. Any pair with a H justifies the raise. After you just call, a river bet on the blank is completely justified.
Based on the way the hand played, its hard not to call the river given the odds unless the BB was very tight, even so, a lot of folks bet a pair with an H. |

Re: Kings on monotone flop
I think the river fold is almost certainly good without a read on villain, his line is extremely strong on this board.
However I don't object to looking him up since his bet isn't terribly large in relation to the pot and there is an outside chance of AhQx or similar. The turn bet is fine and re-raising there would be terrible imo. |
