I think that most of you guys are seriously underestimating Tony G. Clearly he does not have the technical expertise to grind out shorthanded shortstacked mid NL holdem online.

However, I could see how his playing style and verbal jarring could put him in hugely +EV situations when playing deep stacked live NLH, especially if there are a few week players in the game who could easily become affected by his verbal thrusts (as there invariably always is in live games, even very high stakes ones).
