Default Starting a BM Casino

This is theoritical at this point, but what would be a suggested capital for starting a Cardroom? From the ground up of leasing land and/or a building to all the personnel and equipment. I have limited experience in running a business but a cardroom seems pretty straightfoward. Somethings that cross my mind would be:

Personnel:
Management
Accounting
Dealers
Chip Runners
Cage Clerks
Security
Service

Equipment:
Land/Building
Custom Chips
Card decks
Tables
etc.etc.

Proper Licensing
Marketing
Promotional / Events

Are there any informative sites or posts out there that have this type of info?

What kind of turn-around time could be presumed to make a profit?
How much is a typical table expected to make hourly from rake based on different games sizes?
For a business like this, where is capital best derived from? independent investors? banks?
Does a business like this require a large amount of money to back whats on the tables? I'm assuming no, given the nature of poker.

This would be considering an area (country;region;state) that allows legitamite poker establishments.

You need to decide where before you can begin to think about how much.

Are there countries where you could start a casino without regard to any kind of gaming regulations?

My guess is that you'd turn a bigger profit with less work with slots, although you'd have to have a bankroll to pay out any jackpots, which obviously isn't a problem in poker.

Yea, this is just stupid.

I'm moving this to B&M because they really get off talking about how to run cardrooms iirc.

Go into business with tworooks and become rich. Allthough you will have to deal with a little kid being your boss. On the plus side you'll probably get free dances from his mom on her time off.
