Hows the AC Hilton poker room?
I have been trying to find out more info on the Hilton poker room, and really haven't found much in the way of trip reports, etc. How is the room in general? What limits?

Re: Hows the AC Hilton poker room?
It's nice, low key, with an older crowd. I used to play there when I lived in Philly. Just give them a call.

Re: Hows the AC Hilton poker room?
It's a very nice room with generous comps, clean chips, bottled beer, and a great poker rate. Seems to attract more Asian gamblers than other AC rooms b/c of proximity to Asian games room.
Limits: 1/2 NL and 2/4 Limit always going during normal hours. Sometimes 3/6 Limit, occasionally 2/5 NL. It's my favorite room for playing 1/2 NL, but you won't find much else of interest running. They have no-fee tournaments on Wednesday and Thursday night, but the structures are not very good. |

Not many games running, but good staff and excellent comps (got a buffet comp after playing for about 2 hours).

Re: Hows the AC Hilton poker room?
Hi Mike,
I played at the Hilton last Friday afternoon/night and Saturday afternoon. The Hilton offers very generous comps, and they also give away hotel rooms to their poker players. You will find an older crowd of regulars who do not play too well. The Hilton has an upscale feel to it. The room actually has a window in it. The Hilton does not spread many games in the way of limit hold em. When I played they had 2-4 hold em and a 3-6 hold em limit game going. They had a 1-2 no limit hold em game and a 2-5 no limit hold em game. They had an interest list for 5-10 stud. The Hilton used to spread better tournaments. They switched from 30 minute levels back to 20 minute leves. Give the room a try and post a report. |
