Default Poker in Costa Rica

My buddy is thinking of moving to Costa Rica for 6 months starting in September. Do any of you guys know how the poker is down there? He plays mostly 1/2NL to 2/5NL. Thanks...

LOL I even went back to fix my typo. Article.

I have a friend that owns a house in Costa Rica but I think it might be remote.

Pretty wild. I'm thinking about going to Costa Rica for a month or two myself to play.

Thanks for the article link.

Big tourney scene very heavy on the rebuys, and bonus: you'll often see Humberto in these (sitting there quietly sans shark). Small NL games (as low as 20c-40c NL with a $10 buyin) at various casinos including Radisson and Clario, and from what I understand, a larger game at White House casino in Escazu. Its a small but lively poker scene.
