3/6 limit live possible winrate?
I have been a slight winner at 3/6 live in recent months. I just wanted to know for sure whether or not it is possible to consistently beat these games if the rake is 10% up to 4 dollars. Also, what kind of hourly winrate would Hoss_TBf or a great limit grinder be able to get in a 3/6 game? k thx.

Re: 3/6 limit live possible winrate?
In terms of BB/hr, 3/6 is probably the most profitable limit hold'em game there is. An expert may be able to win as much as $12/hr.

May i ask where you are playing and what your winrate is ? [/ QUOTE ] Local Kansas City casinos(argosy harrahs, ameristar)-The first two times I went to Harrahs I won over 150 bucks both times and got really excited about it. I suck and my overlall winrate over the eight months I have been playing is about negative 1BB per hour but I am getting better and over the last two months over about 20 sessions total I have been winning around 1bb hr(Variance). But im 21 and maybe I will get better. BTW I also have been playing online and have been slightly profitable at tournys/sngs but am a losing online cash game player. . Despite this, I still think i can be a pro during my manic stages at which point I honestly believe I will be a millionaire soon. PS I am kind of crazy and have tilting problems. |

Re: 3/6 limit live possible winrate?
I doubt it. The reason why, basically, you are paying $12/hr just to sit there. If the casino aves. 30 hands/hr, they make $120/hr. Since 10 are at a table, each basically gives $12/hr. Granted, I assume you play tight, so you aren't donking chips off like the others. But then, I add $3 more per hr. for tipping and drinks. So when I play live, I factor in that I am paying $15/hr. total. So if you win at 3BB/hr., you are making a whopping $3/hr. Hell, get a job at McD's. Granted, my math may be off a little, but not by much.
