Did anyone catch in the 3rd episode the first refrain of the last song.
Brett: "What's wrong with the world today?" Jermaine:"What's wrong with the world today, mhh mhh nn ne ne ne ney" like he forgot/has no text for that part, but something should be there because it fits to the melody. Thought that was hilarious. Also, the mugger: "You don't wanna mess with him 'cause he's crazy. He is a pycho killer. Qu'est que c'est.

As a whole, the episode was pretty bad. So was last week's. It's very lame to have Bret reading a novelty musicians magazine and for them to use a reference to Tenacious D in the band's photo headline. That can only mean the characters know they're in a joke band, which totally undermines the premise of the show.

[/ QUOTE ] My interpretation was that they know they are "novelty" musicians, but they don't understand that this means they are a joke band. This was my least favorite episode of the series thus far. Still some hilarious parts though.
