Another Beckham/Cruise bodog prop

Bad news today, the Galaxy coach says he's 50-50 to play.

Even if Cruise got out of the movie for some reason...would he bother showing up to see the relative unknowns Beckham would play next Tuesday?

Beckham is set for a busy weekend.

He and wife Victoria will be the honored guests at a welcome bash hosted by Tom Cruise and Will Smith at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Cruise is reportedly flying in from Germany, where he is shooting his newest film. Among those on the 600-person guest list are Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Jim Carrey and Steven Spielberg.

They only talk about the party though and not the game. I read this in USA Today and I was worried at first but it never says he'll be there for the game - it more implies that he's going to fly in just for the party.

Then He and Tom Cruise can go into the backroom of the party and do what they do best. Why else would Tom fly all the way from Germany for a party? What a loser.
