I don't really remember, but yea usually if I'm running bad, tired, or involved big at another table I will slip up like this. Maybe I was trying to c/r or something dumb...I'm not quite sure, but this is definitely rare.

But, yea my main question was value shoving the river or just flat calling behind? And if you choose value shoving, would you do it against a really solid/good opponent?

boggles my mind that you would post this incredibly (what should be) standard hand. Let me guess...he ended up having like Ax of spades? There shouldn't be 1 microsecond of doubt in whether you want to take this to the felt v. a 44/2
