Default Problems with OOP floats

I have about 16 in preflop raise and I always think about position. I find myself in the following situation too often, especially at the NL50 tables. I think I may have a leak here.

I open preflop, one call. Flop: villain checks. I continuation bet, villain calls. Turn: villain checks, I check. River: villain bets 2/3 of the pot and I have to fold.

What is the best way to exploit or protect myself against this behaviour? Of course, I could continuation bet bluff the turn as well, but how do I know when to do this?

Thanks!

Default Re: Problems with OOP floats

Happens a lot and the simple answer is, it depends......

Are there draws that have missed (A hi good?)

Does this villian peel the flop with any pair?

Is the turn or river a scare card you can rep?

etc.

Post some specific hands for better advice.
