Has anyone every used the internet in Cape Town, South Africa?
I do not recall ever seeing anyone at a table from Cape Town before.

Although I haven't been to Cape Town in a couple of years (I tend only to get to Jo'burg), I do know that the coverage is OK in big South African cities, certainly in decent hotels.

I've just moved from cape town to the states, been there most of my life. I used iburst when I was there and it was fine...prob depends where in cape town you from. Havent seen many people playing poker from Cape Town myself

Internet service is reasonable in major cities. South Africa has become extremely dangerous in recent years, playing poker in your compound is probably the best way to pass time these days.

Internet is decent and relatively reliable if not spectacular in South Africa.

haha Yes! I was there for a month and its similar US. Most people have internet access in some shape or form and internet cafes were not hard to find...
