Default 25NL : bottom set facing a flop raise

Fist, sorry for my english, i'll try to do my best.

Vilain has been semi loose passive : 25/4.5/1.5

Prima Poker skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.20
10 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $26.16
UTG+1: $4.96
UTG+2: $10.42
MP1: $96.97
MP2: $12.34
MP3: $19.40
CO: $9.70
Button: $17.00
SB: $19.70
Hero: $18.80

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.2 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was $0.3)</font>, UTG+2 calls $0.2 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was $0.5)</font>, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.2 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was $0.7)</font>, 3 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($0.9, 5 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $0.45</font>, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+2 raises to $0.9</font>, MP2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $3.6</font>.
Uncalled bets: $2.7 returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: $2.7

I put him on a pocket pair or suited connectors, maybe A 10. I'am affraid to play vs a better set. Is my re raise OK or am i too aggro here ?

Ps : i'am not very comfortable to raise pocket pairs OOP. Maybe it's a leak.

Thanks for your replys

I don't know about FR, but flop is dry enough that I'm willing to take a chance and let the draws that make up a small part of his range try something on the turn, or Tx hand itself. A J on the river if the turn is checked is the only hand that bothers me, because JT will raise me as well as 89 which smokes me.

Call raise, and cr the turn.

If you ever fear a higher set for 100bb, don't. It's not worth it. Just go for broke.

I like call and check raise turn in this particular situation.

This is ok for 25 NL.

Hard to extract the most value in an unraised pot but the play here is fine.

the flop is def dry enough to not be afraid of many turn cards so this is what i would also do to try to get more value out of my set.

call and check raise the turn
flop is dry, you can gamble with it a little bit

the con side of it.. is a lot of over cards can kill your action.
